To improve the income from the agricultural land, RACE has been assisting farmers and entrepreneurs in rural areas to convert their basic agriculture methods by introducing multilayer agriculture system and systematic rice intensification techniques. To meet the gap in knowledge; RACE has delivered suitable training modules for structured learning and to upgrade the skills of conventional practices of farming. The training envisaged developing of Raghunathpur Block-I; converging with livelihood activities, productivity enhancement, and economic sustainability, creating prospects for environment protection.

The strategy of RACE is to adopt the villages and work through partnership with government and multi-sectoral development organisations to achieve the goal. To begin with, RACE has instigated with community capacity building by capacity building, creating awareness and community participation. Emphases have been given on strengthening the community based organisations and developing ownership of such organization.
